What Happens to the Body when you Drink a Coke

I know I have been posting a lot about the dangers of drinking Soda, but I feel people need to know!
When somebody drinks a Coke (or any soda) watch what happens…
  • In The First 10 minutes: 10 teaspoons of sugar hit your system. (100% of your recommended daily intake.) You don’t immediately vomit from the overwhelming sweetness because phosphoric acid cuts the flavor allowing you to keep it down.
  • 20 minutes: Your blood sugar spikes, causing an insulin burst. Your liver responds to this by turning any sugar it can get its hands on into fat. (There’s plenty of that at this particular moment)
  • 40 minutes: Caffeine absorption is complete. Your pupils dilate, your blood pressure rises, as a response your livers dumps more sugar into your bloodstream. The adenosine receptors in your brain are now blocked preventing drowsiness.
  • 45 minutes: Your body ups your dopamine production stimulating the pleasure centers of your brain. This is physically the same way heroin works, by the way.
  • >60 minutes: The phosphoric acid binds calcium, magnesium and zinc in your lower intestine, providing a further boost in metabolism. This is compounded by high doses of sugar and artificial sweeteners also increasing the urinary excretion of calcium.
  • >60 Minutes: The caffeine’s diuretic properties come into play. (It makes you have to pee.) It is now assured that you’ll evacuate the bonded calcium, magnesium and zinc that was headed to your bones as well as sodium, electrolyte and water.
  • >60 minutes: As the rave inside of you dies down you’ll start to have a sugar crash. You may become irritable and/or sluggish. You’ve also now, literally, pissed away all the water that was in the Coke. But not before infusing it with valuable nutrients your body could have used for things like even having the ability to hydrate your system or build strong bones and teeth.
So there you have it, an avalanche of destruction in a single can. Imagine drinking this day after day, week after week. Stick to water, real juice from fresh squeezed fruit, and tea without sweetener.

The Hidden Dangers in Soda

By now, it's probably fair to say that most Americans know soda isn't a health-promoting drink. Over the years, the carbonated beverage has been blamed for the obesity epidemic and rising healthcare costs. Some public health experts have even called to put a tax on soda to help deter people from drinking so much of it. While love handles and diabetes are obvious problems associated with soda, drinking the sweet carbonated beverages harbors hidden threats, too.

1. It causes invisible fat buildup around your organs.
In the latest bad news for the soda industry, Danish researchers discovered that drinking non-diet soda leads to dramatic increases in dangerous hidden fats. In the study, researchers asked participants to drink either soda sweetened with 50 percent glucose and 50 fructose (table sugar, the soda sweetener of choice in Denmark), milk containing the same amount of calories as the regular soda, diet cola, or water every day for six months.

While total fat mass remained the same across all beverage-consuming groups, researchers say dramatic increases in fats that are hard to detect with the naked eye occurred. Those who drank the regular cola experienced a 132 to 142 percent increase in liver fat, a 117 to 221 percent jump in skeletal fat, and about a 30 percent increase in both triglyceride blood fats and other organ fat. The regular soda-drinking group also experienced an 11 percent increase in cholesterol, compared to the people who drank beverages.

In America, many sodas are sweetened with high-fructose corn syrup that has been shown to cause even worse fat buildup. Avoid turning to diet soda as a healthy alternative. Artificial sweeteners and food dyes have been linked to brain cell damage and hyperactivity; people who drink diet soda are also more prone to developing diabetes.

2. Some contain toxic flame retardants.
Some popular soda brands, including Mountain Dew, use a toxic flame retardant chemical ingredient to keep the artificial flavoring from separating from the rest of the liquid. Brominated vegetable oil, also sometimes listed as BVO on soda and sports drink, can cause bromide poisoning symptoms like skin lesions and memory loss, as well as nerve disorders.

3. You're taking part in the biggest science experiment on the planet.
Many soda brands on the market in America today are sweetened with high fructose corn syrup, a heart-harming man-made compound derived mainly from genetically engineered (GE) corn. GE technology was only introduced into our food chain in the 1990s. We don't know the long-term health impacts of their use because the corporations that developed the crops never had to test to make sure it's safe over the long term. Other independent scientists are finding that GE crops are linked to digestive tract damage, accelerated aging, and even infertility.

Kangen Water Scam Truth

 Is Kangen Water a Scam?

I wondered myself a few years ago when I was introduced to this water. There were other water ionizers on the market that claimed to make the same type of water as this Enagic machine. Could the price difference really be worth it?
It is. I have been sharing Kangen Water with people for several years now. When I test my water it still consistently makes negative ORP (high antioxidant) water with an accurate pH reading.

What are some things to look for in a quality water ionizer?

 1. The motor has to be over 200 watts to ionize stable hexagonal water. [Enagic has 235 watts,
most companies have 50-90 watts]
2. The surface area of the plates the machine uses to ionize water must be over 200 square
inches to produce abundant hexagonal water. [Enagic is 266 square inches which is similar to a
legal sheet of paper compared its competitors whose plates are the size of a playing card]
3. The unit has a self cleaning feature.(I believe this is the only unit on the market that does this.)
4. A ph range of 2.5 -11.5 is ideal. If you are going to invest in a quality machine don't short
change yourself. [I believe Enagic is still the only machine with this ph range]
5. The Enagic warranty of 5 years is an indication of quality. It is the standard against which all
other machines are compared.
6. Enagic is built for a lifetime with 'component replacement' engineering. Without this, the
machine becomes disposable.

What are some Certifications of Quality?

1. Certification as a medical device. Only devices that are effective in treating disease will
have this certificate. A medical device in Japan, ranked #1 in the world in health is highly
sought after. [currently only Enagic]
2. Enagic is endorsed by the Japanese Association of Preventative Medicine for Adult
Diseases. They do extensive research, testing and screening before they endorse any
product. They only endorse one product per industry.
3. Enagic Certification and Endorsement from Japanese Ministry Health - the equivalent of
the FDA. Having Japanese certification is key here since Japan has been the benchmark of
health for decades and is way ahead of all countries when it comes to water ionizers.
4. The Enagic company is ISO 9001 compliant. This ensures manufacturing quality. [The
ionizers are built one at a time by one technician who must sign off on the quality of each
ionizer. assembled]
5. Enagic is certified with the "Direct Sellers Association of America." This ensures you that
their sales and business practices are fair, honest and customer oriented.
6. Enagic is UL underwritten. Safety and Liability are important factors to consider! UL
underwriting assures you of both.

So---if you are considering making a big change in your health...then
Change Your Water & Change Your Life!

Pub Med Articles for Laminine

Have questions about the science behind the effectiveness of Laminine?

Many science articles are available at http://www.pubmed.gov.

That site is governed by the National Institutes of Health and is the repository of Worldwide peer reviewed science.  It is the 'gold standard of published science'.

Because Laminine is proven to reduce Cortisol by 50% we can see from the published studies if there is a connection between a disease and cortisol by typing it into the search engine.

I got some interesting results and found the following:

Cortisol and insomnia                        128 published papers finding a correlation

Cortisol and obesity                            1715  " "

Cortisol and depreession                   5607  "   "

Cortisiol and testosterone                 5320  " " "

Cortisol and memory                          762  "   "

Cortisoil and anxiety                          1876  "   "   "

Cortisol and pain                                1827  "   "

Cortisol and libido                              69       "   "

 Cortisol and DHEA                            2823   "    "
